Terwijl we begin 2010 het Tsjomonline netwerk hebben omgebouwd naar de nieuwste standaard in wifi (wireless N) , kijken we al uit naar de volgende update van de wifi standaard. Het is wat technisch gereutel maar het komt er op neer dat een belangrijke producent nu bezig is met een wifi kaartje die op 60 ghz tot 7gigabit per seconde kan versturen.

Dat is sneller dan de meeste internet backbones en veel sneller dan de gemiddelde glasvezelaansluiting. Dan is het zo snel dat je hardeschijf het niet weg kan schrijven allemaal.

Tsjomonline is de eerste die tests gaat doen met deze nieuwe apparaten en als er stabiel product is bouwen we het zaakje weer om. Met als doel : Sneller als glas en vol gas.

The new AR9004TB solution is the first chipset capable of supporting a wide range of applications, from I/O to video to networking, at the same speeds as equivalent wired connectivity technologies, while maintaining whole home coverage and complete interoperability.
